Suzanne Gilchrist (37), who was trying to escape from a store detective, carried a 22-year-old man along on her car for around 300 metres after ramming into him.
In her defence in court she blamed her hormones for this odd incident.
Almost all of this incident has been captured on the town centre CCTV; the footage clearly shows how she had put Mr Morris’s life in danger.
I don’t want to pass any judgement, but I am thinking what would have happened if the driver was a man and the pedestrian a woman.
