Colin Steer of Devon was just working around the house, replacing some joints in his floor, when he finally found out what was making his living room floor sink all these years: a 33 foot medieval well.
Plans show the well dates back to the 16th century. The man says that since he found the well he wanted to dig it out to see if he can find any gold down there. But all he found was an old sword.
