Photographing one of the world’s largest trees (7 pictures + video)

“The President” is a giant sequoia. It stands 247 ft (75 m) tall, measures 45,000 cubic ft (1275 cubic m) in volume, and is an estimated 3,200 years old. The President is so huge it’s never been captured in a single image until a team from National Geographic embarked on this great quest in 2012.
