Many construction projects have been going on in China in the last two decades resulting in high rise buildings, particularly in Shanghai, known as the forefront of the skyscraper mania in China. However, Beijing has been quick in catching up.
The new Headquarter of CCTV (China Central Television), the CCTV Tower is one of the architectural feats on display in the newly developed commercial area of Chaoyang in Beijing. The following are some photos of this magnificent construction which has managed to win many prizes for its unusual architecture.
